Wireless Camera Installation and Setup Service Description


Bella Vita Technologies will install and configure your Smart wireless cameras and will help to download the remote-control app on your devices (computer, smartphone, or tablet). We will add them to the Customer’s wireless (Wi-Fi) home/office network.


A functional wireless (Wi-Fi) network is required.

Service Procedure

Bella Vita Technologies will perform the following tasks:

  • Unbox the new smart camera (check the box and packaging for included accessories).
  • Verify the Customer has a working wireless network. If not, the service cannot proceed.
  • Note: Ensure the camera to be installed is Wi-Fi enabled, cloud-based, and does not require connection to a central DVR base control unit. Battery-operated cameras must have an AC outlet nearby placement for charging purposes.
  • Validate available network signal strength at the location(s) where the camera(s) are to be installed.
  • Follow the manufacturers instructions to set up the smart camera(s) at the positions requested by the Customer, using the supplied mounting hardware.
  • Follow the manufacturers instructions to set up the smart wireless camera(s) and add to the Customer’s Wi-Fi network.
  • Download the remote-control app to the Customer’s smartphone, tablet, or computer, as requested.
  • Setup and register the remote-control app for the Customer.
  • Check for firmware and software updates and download as needed.
  • Verify that the Customer can connect to the camera(s) and that they are working correctly.
  • Demonstrate the basic functions of the camera system, so the Customer is comfortable using it.
  • Clean up the service area.
  • Service complete.

Service Scope


  • Support for Windows 8, 10, Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Chrome.

  • This service covers installation and configuration cloud-based smart wireless cameras indoor/outdoor.

  • Validation of available network signal strength before installation.

  • Wireless camera configuration.

  • Neatly dress or hide any exposed cables (Customers must provide raceway or conduit).

  • The Connection of the camera(s) to the Customer’s Wi-Fi.

  • Download the remote-control app for Windows 8, 10, Android, iOS, Mac or Chrome and assist with registering smart device account setup.

  • Demonstrate how to use the wireless camera(s).

  • Any surface (drywall, wood or concrete).

  • Installations under 9 feet high.


  • Support for legacy versions of Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

  • Support for Linux.

  • Wireless Cameras connected to a DVR system (not cloud-based {smart} Wi-Fi cameras).

  • Home Wi-Fi setup (Add-on available at an additional fee).

  • Structured electrical service – Technician will connect to an existing power source but will not perform any electrical wiring.

  • Concealing wiring within the drywall.

  • Parts or accessories, e.g., (outdoor cameras may require additional network extender to strengthen Wi-Fi signal).

  • Installations over 9 feet high.

Customer Responsibilities

  • An adult (18+) must always be present at the installation site.

  • Usernames and passwords.

  • Network names and passwords.

  • Make and model numbers.

  • All needed cables or accessories.
